In fact, some studies show that the construction sector contributes to 23% of air pollution, 50% of climate change, 40% of drinking water pollution, and 50% of landfill waste. There is an organization, however, that is pushing the industry forward to meet pressing 21st century challenges by adopting regenerative practices into their work. The Center for Infrastructure and Society (CIS) brings together construction industry resources to ensure a regenerative future for our planet.
