SHEEBA SEN

Fundraising & Partnerships

SHEEBA SEN has spent the last 10 years working across rural India on poverty alleviation initiatives; from building farmer to cup supply chains for coffee farmers in the south to heading a grassroots rural development nonprofit in the Himalayas. Three years ago she founded Alaap, a social enterprise with a mission to catalyze regeneration across India. Taking a systems approach, Alaap identifies leverage points in an ecosystem to kickstart a regenerative local economy. Currently she is designing a water project in south India. Sheeba studied International Relations at the London School of Economics followed by the Legal Practice course at the University of Oxford. She practiced at an International law firm in London for three years before returning to work in rural India.

ADAM SGRENCI

Operations & Business Development

ADAM SGRENCI founded the Center For Infrastructure and Society as a means of bringing his two life passions together – construction and international development. Adam’s worldview was shaped at an early age by witnessing society’s exploitation of people and planet. To better understand the dynamics at play, he went on to earn degrees in Economics, Geology and International Relations. He is a student and teacher of world history, a career carpenter, and an advocate of construction workforce development.

Adam has devoted much of the last decade to helping traditional builders and ConTech firms embrace and implement strategies for workforce empowerment throughout the Americas, North and West Africa, and South Asia. He is the author of several publications on Global Social Movements, Latin American Politics, and International Infrastructure.

PETER COUGHLAN

Strategy & Regenerative Design

PETER COUGHLAN has spent the last 25 years working on multidisciplinary teams to design products, services, environments, and systems of all shapes and sizes. He has led large organizational transformation programs with healthcare systems, multinational corporations, and governmental & non-governmental organizations in the Americas, Europe, and Asia. He started his professional life as a carpenter’s apprentice.

RICHARD HOFMEISTER brings 3 decades of international architectural design experience to CIS. From urban and town design, site planning, residential, retail/commercial, institutional, and civic architecture.  Richard is an expert with hillside and environmentally-sensitive properties. He has mastered custom architectural design within design/build/development using BIM, custom build, and prefab.

Workforce and Business Development

HILDEMIR CHACIN has a degree in Education and a specialization in the design and management of educational projects. She has focused her career on the design, coordination and execution of training plans for workers in the oil, engineering and construction industries.

PREM BAJAJ

Renewable Energy Technologies

With over 25 years experience in international infrastructure, Prem's focus is in manufacturing energy efficiency products & services. With the Indian government's initiative on Climate Change, he's begun to deliver turnkey services for solar power projects (executed +230MW till date).
